The Bible is the inspired word of God. In the Bible, we can learn about God, our Creator and what He has as established as the way to worship and please Him. God, who is spirit, says that His worshiper must worship Him in spirit and in truth. He gives us the freedom to choose Him or not to choose Him. I chose God. That being so, I desire to please Him. As a disciple of God's Son Jesus the Christ, the Holy Spirit directs my life, gifts, and talents to be used by Him to the glory of God the Father and His Son. The Holy Spirit convicts all people, including you. My desire is that you open your mind and heart to what the Spirit of truth is doing, so that you will incline your ear to the Good News of God's Kingdom through Jesus Christ who is the reality, man's only means of salvation. It is only through Jesus Christ that God reconciles man to Himself.

Almost 2,000 years ago and as recorded in the Bible, Jesus said that the Kingdom of God would be preached throughout the earth and then the end would come. This preaching work has been happening ever since, and the end will come. Why? Jehovah says "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." We can rely on this, because God cannot lie. (Isaiah 55:10-11; Matthew 24:14; Titus 1:1-3)

The Bible gives us the truth about how we got here, the times we live in, where we are headed, life and death, marriage, parenting, how to live our lives the way God wants us to, heaven and hell, and much more, all of which lead to the the return and restoration of all things to God the Father through Christ Jesus. Read, for example Genesis 1-3, Psalm 139:13-16, Romans 1:18-31, and 2Timothy 3:1-5.

The Bible gives us the truth about our individual eternity. We choose our destiny. Jesus Christ said "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14; Galatians 6:7-8)

The Bible gives us the truth about Satan and his eminent destruction. He is the god of this age, but, just of this age. His reign will end. (John 8:42-47; 2Corinthians 4:1-4; Revelation 20:7-10)

Most importantly, the Bible tells us about Jesus Christ's return, our part in that return, and what that means for all of creation! Read for example, Matthew 24-25.

I do not know everything about the Bible, and I certainly don't know everything about God or when the end will come. No person knows the exact day or time of the end, although Jesus said that we should keep watch. He will return and will not delay. But, I do know that all of God's blessings for you through Jesus Christ are written in the Bible. He wants you to live life more abundantly today!
